Hampton Elementary serves approximately 430 students, mainly from Hampton, Merritt, and Portsmouth Townships, in Bay County. We offer Pre School (GSRP - Great Start Readiness Program), Young 5's, and 3 sections of grades Kindergarten – fifth grade. Our experienced staff of teachers is dedicated to providing every child with the best educational opportunity possible. Our goal is to help every child reach his or her full potential.
Hampton Elementary is an exciting place to learn. A variety of special subjects are included in our curriculum, such as Media, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Physical Education, Music, and Discovery Through the Arts. Additionally, we offer WIN (What I Need) time to enrich students that are excelling as well as provide extra intervention support for students that are below grade level. Our goal is to meet the needs of Special Education services to meet the wide variety of needs of our students. After renovations in 2001, our students enjoy the opportunity to learn in a state of the art facility.
Hampton Elementary has an active, caring, and hard working parent volunteer group. Parents are encouraged to volunteer their services in many ways. We have many types of volunteer opportunities including tutoring, assisting classroom teachers, and volunteering in the library. Parent involvement is an integral part to the success of our school.
